Inspired by George Orwell's 1984
This was something I was recently working on for the past week or so. I like how it came out I hope you like it as much as I do...Enjoy

I'm glad everyone likes it... It was a long long process.
2.1gHz, 512 ddr 333mHz ram. Radeon9800pro XP 256 on board ddr ram. It's a custom machine but it still takes really long to render things. Oh yes and to answer how the render time was so low: I rendered it in pieces. I first rendered the pods and then the background behind it. then the rest is photoshop!

I LOVE this image, it truly is one of the greatest 3D images I've ever seen. I love the symbolsm of starlight shining down on robots whose purpose is presumably to control and oppress life. Even if the human race were enslaved, human power is still limited. Great work.

All i can say is Wow... This is one of the most amazing pieces I have ever seen. Hands down. Im am so surprised there is only 6 comments. That just baffles me. This right here just proves that talent and popularity on DA are not related (im not saying the popular arent talented :P).

The reflections are purely amazing, as well as the little details on the 'floor'. I love the symbolism of the robot being converted to follow the other robots standards (thats at least what it looks like to me). +Fav definently.
